The Killer's Climax

At the end of many horror movies, including Scream, just when you think the Killer was dead, they rise up one more time.  It seemed fitting then, to let our Ghostface pop up one last time at the climax of the story.

The Last Chapter: Jay by Michael von Redlich

Every great story, and photo series must eventually come to an end but this one does come to a visually stunning conclusion.  Although these are last of photographer Michael von Redlich's work with Jay for now, I did tuck a few away for later.  Some of the work in their five shoots together took place outside of the studio as well, and I'll share some of those very soon.

I mentioned in the previous piece that there changes in Jay's confidence and interplay with the camera but there were other changes as well.  Feeling confident after his shoot with Michael, Jay decided to give the adult film industry a try.  When he returned for subsequent shoots, not all of the changes were positive. 

'During a later shoot, (bleached hair) Jay had done a porn film in Las Vegas and had the typical arrogance and attitude of someone who thought he was impressive- it was our toughest shoot.'

Thankfully, this wasn't the end of their work together.  By the time their last shoot rolled around, over a year from their first collaboration, Michael reports that Jay's attitude had adjusted and leveled out and he was back to being the sweet, enthusiastic guy that he had first met and worked with.
